College of Natural Sciences Accreditation

GCU’s College of Natural Sciences is proud to offer two programs in candidate status with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). ACEND is an independent accrediting agency responsible for evaluating education programs that work toward equipping students to pursue careers as registered dietitians or registered dietetic technicians. Programs that meet ACEND's accreditation standards receive accreditation from ACEND.¹ Through these standards, ACEND accreditation assures that the educational experience for students meets global specifications for nutrition and dietetics education in key disciplines.

GCU’s Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics Education Program has been granted candidate status by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2190, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, 312-899-0040 ext. 5400.
