Author Details

Dr. Meredith Critchfield is a dean, professor, researcher, author, and podcaster with over 17 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She currently serves as Dean of the College of Education at Grand Canyon University. Meredith has co-authored a book with Columbia University’s Teachers College Press, published several peer-reviewed articles, and won multiple awards for her research and teaching efforts, including Grand Canyon University's Leadership in Research and Scholarly Activity Award, Grand Canyon University's Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award, and a Teacher of the Year Award. In 2017, she co-founded and now co-hosts a Grand Canyon University podcast for educators called “Top of the Class.”
