Heather Ziemianski began her career at Grand Canyon University in 2007. During her time at GCU she has served in various roles within operations and academics. In 2022, she was appointed associate dean for the pre-licensure/ABSN nursing program after serving in the role of assistant dean. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Nursing: Leadership in Health Care and Post-Master of Science in Nursing: Nursing Education Certificate from Grand Canyon University. She also holds national certifications as a certified academic clinical nurse educator (CNEcl) with the National League for Nursing and a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE) with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Heather currently serves as secretary on the board for the Arizona Simulation Network and was a member of subcommittee for the “Arizona Board of Nursing Advisory Opinion: Use of Simulation in Approved RN/LPN Programs” revision in 2019.
