Dr. Kelly K. Damron, CPA is an associate professor of accounting. She specializes in teaching introductory financial accounting, taxation, and intermediate accounting II. Dr. Damron engages students using games and non-traditional actives in the classroom. She has authored an article on using Monopoly® in introductory accounting courses.
Her dissertation and a published journal article were on the development of soft skills in accounting interns. She utilizes her industry experience when teaching and helping students with career advice. Dr. Damron is the lead co-advisor for Collegiate DECA of GCU. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration with a specialization in Advanced Accounting.
