#AskGCU: How Can I Get a Job On Campus?
The #AskGCU guys are back and answering one of the most-asked questions out there: How can I get a job on campus?
Having a job on campus is a very coveted position that allows students to work right where they are, without a large commute, earn money and make friends all at the same time. The #AskGCU crew took to looking around campus at some of the best jobs and proved that it is actually simple to snag a job here.
They asked students who worked at Subway, GCBC, Chick-Fil-A and other areas on campus how they got their job, how they like it and how to get hired.
A worker at GCBC said, “There’s so many people here that just love their job.”
A Chick-Fil-A worker commented that, “There’s good vibes here, when I’m working with them I’m always laughing and always on task, always busy.”
Caleb Ramsey gave some great advice as well on how to get hired: “Go to the office, meet the manager, talk to them and show them why you’d be a great candidate.”
How to Apply
- Go to GCU.edu
- Click Students
- Go to Student Resources
- Click on Career Impact Center
- Click either ‘New or Former Student Worker’ or ‘Current Student Worker’
- Check out the student job openings
- Put in your resume, fill out the application form
- Apply
