Are you looking to enroll at one of the most established and well-recognized nursing schools in Arizona? Grand Canyon University’s College of Nursing and Health Care Professions has been providing students with a high-quality education for over 35 years.

As one of the top nursing schools in Arizona, we offer a wide range of accredited degrees, from bachelor’s degrees to doctoral programs. Each program provides a curriculum that connects classroom theories to working scenarios through hands-on practice, lab simulations and peer discussions.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

GCU offers two Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs: a BSN (pre-licensure) program and an RN to BSN program. The BSN (pre-licensure) is a comprehensive bachelor’s program that prepares you for the NCLEX exam, and the RN to BSN provides current registered nurses with additional professional practice and an expanded understanding of healthcare theory.

Bridge Pathways

If you have earned a bachelor’s degree outside of the field of nursing and desire to gain the fundamental knowledge and skills for a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, then you may want to take a bridge pathway. The bridge pathway consists of pre-requisite courses that prepare you to gain admission and successfully complete an MSN program.

Master’s Degrees

Grand Canyon University’s accredited MSN programs can help you reach your education goals so you can continue to advance your career. Each program is designed to help you gain the necessary knowledge to pursue your area of interest, including nursing education, healthcare informatics, leadership and public health.

Doctoral Degrees

GCU caters to advanced-practice registered nurses and nurse leaders looking to expand their skills and education by offering a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). The rigorous and advanced curriculum expands on topics such as healthcare information technology, translation of research into practice and data analysis to prepare you for a strong leadership career within healthcare organizations.

In this program, you do not need to leave your practice to attend the residencies. Instead, you can use peer discussions and in-depth application-based activities to enhance your learning experience.
