Weekly Devotional: Leave Everything In God’s Hands
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.”- Psalm 143:8
The Lord is always with you. In everything that you do and everywhere you go, He is with you. Whether you feel Him or not, He is with you. In each new season of life, He is walking by your side.
Table of Contents:
Your Job
When you are doing everything you can to find a job and struggling to make ends meet, God is still there. The more you try to take circumstances into your own hands, the more difficult it will be to achieve your goals. Let go and let God take care of things. He wants to help, so let him help.
When you love your job and are working hard and getting what you want out of your work, He is there with you. He has helped you get where you are and where you need to be.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7
Your Family
Whenever you are having family struggles, God is there in every situation. If you are desperately wanting to find love and someone to build a family with, do not worry, God is working. He is bringing you your person. He knows the desires of your heart and he will fulfill those desires as long as you have patience and trust him. He will resolve issues and help you in hard times, as long as you go to him for help.
“The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” – Proverbs 16: 1-3
Your Desires
God knows the desires of your heart. He knows your hopes, dreams and goals. He knows what you want most out of life. He has given you a purpose and he will lead you on the path that you are supposed to go, if you trust him and let him guide you. You may not know his plan, but his plan is greater than any we could have for ourselves.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4
Your Future
We do not know what our future holds. We do not know what tomorrow will look like. We cannot predict the future. Only God knows what our future holds and who we are going to be. Leave the future in God’s hands because he knows what is best for us.
“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6
