GCU Student Testimonial: Jerome Garrison
Jerome Garrison is a former Division 1 student athlete on Grand Canyon University’s basketball team who is the proud recipient of a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from our prestigious College of Education. His favorite part about being a Lope is the relationships students are able to form with dedicated administrators, professors and coaches at GCU.
As Jerome says, “teachers set the foundation for everything we become.” Our educators serve a valuable role of inspiring change in the world by providing encouragement and motivation for their students. Jerome is able to make a difference every day through his position as the athletic director at Imagine Avondale, where he teaches discipline and other important life skills to his students through sports. He is grateful to be able to make the world a better place by creating confident and capable future world leaders. Jerome hopes he can motivate all of his students as much as they motivate him.
If you hope to inspire minds and create change like GCU’s Jerome Garrison, consider a degree from our College of Education. Through small class sizes and rigorous curriculum, you can become empowered with the skills and confidence you’ll need to enrich people’s lives through education.
