GCU Theatre Department

The GCU Theatre Department can prepare students for a career in the entertainment and production sector. GCU’s theatre program in the College of Arts and Media is designed to provide students with a hands-on education that fosters creativity and collaboration. Degree programs within the department emphasize emerging technology trends within the industry to help students receive a technical education while also developing needed “soft” interpersonal skills.

Theatre and theatre education majors are instructed by knowledgeable faculty from their respective fields in acting, directing, lighting, costume design and technical direction. Students are given hands-on experience behind the scenes as well as onstage in supervised production and performance roles.
