Business Analytics - Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Bachelor of Science in Applied Business Analytics will be able to apply statistical analysis and modeling to extract and transform data from large databases to enable effective business decision making. They will be able to effectively communicate analytics-related information to multiple stakeholders and follow industry-specific laws, regulations, and ethical practices.
- Apply descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics techniques to make tactical and strategic business decisions.
- Utilize data mining techniques to extract meaningful information from datasets in order to guide business decisions.
- Assess data collection techniques and their impact on business decisions using industry-specific regulations, laws, and ethical principles.
- Use appropriate project management techniques to effectively manage analytics-related projects.
- Effectively communicate complex analytics-derived information to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of a software programming tool used in data science.
