Study Abroad
Embrace adventure and explore the world by enrolling in a traditional study abroad program or securing an international internship during your time at Grand Canyon University. Personalize your journey by incorporating a service-learning project, volunteer activities, a faith-based mission, internship, global sightseeing or a language immersion course.
A traditional study abroad program allows you to spend a summer, semester or full academic year at a recognized international host university, where you’ll complete academic coursework and fully immerse yourself in a different culture. Alternatively, an international internship offers the opportunity to spend four to 24 weeks at an overseas organization, gaining valuable and professional work experience while simultaneously enhancing your cultural awareness.
Grand Canyon University’s partnerships currently include the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), Semester at Sea (SAS), Students International (SI), CIS Abroad and Living and Learning International. For international internships, GCU partners with The Intern Group and CIS Abroad. Collectively, GCU’s partners provide ample opportunities for students to engage and explore various regions of the world all while customizing an unmatched international experience.
